6-Month Iowa Pond Maintenance Plan
Let PONDS IOWA maintain your pond for you! The "Clean Pond Service Plan" is our large Iowa pond maintenance specialty. Our professional pond consultant, Don Farley, will travel from North Liberty, Iowa to meet you in person and tour all parts of your pond with you and conduct an on-site pond evaluation aboard the "Pond Frog" - our amphibious ATV. The pond evaluation tour includes identifying weeds, algae, nuisance animals, fish populations, fish size, water depth, pond structure and pond contours. Results are recorded and a customized 6-month pond management plan is developed. The clean pond plan is based on your budget and particular pond problems, needs, or interests. After the initial evaluation visit in May, we’ll re-evaluate and provide pond maintenance once each month for the next 5 months through October 31. Iowa Pond Consulting Services - Maintenance, Construction and Repair If you’d like to maintain and manage your own large pond or farm pond in Iowa, we are available to assist you through our consultation services by phone and/or in person. If you are constructing or repairing a pond, we can help, we have many years of professional construction service experience in Eastern Iowa.

We’ll help you select, install, and maintain your large pond accessories such as floating boat or fishing docks, fountains, fish feeders and aeration equipment. We can also outfit you with pond chemical applicators.

Ride the Pond Frog! Ponds Iowa owns a 6-wheel pond maintenance all-terrain vehicle called, the “Pond Frog” which enables us to reach any area of your pond, including all of those hard-to-reach spots that really need attention. No other pond maintenance company in the region can make this claim, because they don’t have our all-terrain vehicle. Boats and their motors can be useless and hard on the ecosystem when they encounter heavy weeds and algae in shallow water. Backpack sprayers cannot reach far enough to get at all of the weeds, but, aboard the Pond Frog, we can reach the center of the pond to apply necessary chemicals. Our Pond Frog’s bottom finder can look down and identify water depth, fish, sunken objects, bottom weeds and smelly muck mud. PONDS IOWA of North Liberty, Iowa will address whatever problems turn up.
